GSM & Co celebrates 100 years in business by inviting 2 new Partners into the Partnership

We are thrilled to announce that GSM & Co, a London based Chartered Accountancy & Audit firm celebrates its 100 year anniversary from 1st April 2018.

It’s certainly an iconic year to be marking 100 years in business, with the centenary of the end of the First World War along with the celebration of 100 years of women’s right to vote.
In celebrating this milestone GSM are clearly in good company with the likes of the RAF, Panasonic and John Deere Tractors all hosting their centenary year in 2018.

Founded in 1918 by Mr Griffin Stone our roots have remained firmly grounded in London. Whilst London’s skyline may have changed over the last 100 years, at GSM we’ve always kept our feet on the ground.

Since 1918, we’ve built a stellar reputation for excellence in the provision of our services, coupled with the highest level of integrity and objectivity and an unsurpassed commitment to our clients’ financial success. Over the years, our expertise, experience and enterprise have helped businesses succeed, families prosper and not for profit organisations pursue their mission. In 2018 and beyond we will continue to provide the wealth and quality of services our clients have come to expect and we look forward to collaborating with many more clients, both new and existing.

Of course we wouldn’t have been able to achieve this success without the support, devotion and loyalty of our team; past and present. We are thrilled to say many of our senior staff have over 20 years’ experience in practice and with GSM, providing invaluable knowledge and expertise to clients.

At GSM we are immensely proud to grow our own accountants and partners. In our 100th year we are delighted to continue this tradition as we announce the appointment of two new partners Reema Mistry and Rob Smith. They both bring an incredible level of passion and dedication to the role, making a real difference to our clients’ financial affairs and in every aspect demonstrating why we say “together we’ll build better business”.

Reema Mistry joined us in 2009 as a graduate trainee, quickly progressing through her professional exams and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with ICAEW in 2013. Reema focuses not just on compliance driven services but also management consultancy services providing clients with key information allowing them to make informed decisions on their financial future. Reema works with a wide range of clients and has particular specialisms with FCA regulated companies, fashion houses and not for profit organisations.

Rob Smith, came to GSM as a trainee accountant in 2011 after a career change following a 7 year stint working in industry.  By 2014 Rob was qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant with specialist knowledge and experience in construction & property, technology and FCA regulated clients. He offers proactive and strategic advice providing clients with the knowledge and confidence to move forward and grow their business.

The partners are elated to have Rob & Reema join them as we all strive to continue the good work of our founders back in 1918, building long term sustainable business relationships with future generations of clients.
