Jenny Tolmie
Jenny joined GSM in 1994 as an AAT trainee and quickly moved on to study with the ICAEW. In 2004 Jenny became a partner of the firm, our first female partner!
Our firm strives to maintain strong relationships with all our clients and this is evident in the fact that Jenny is now responsible for many of the clients she worked on as a junior trainee. Jenny specialises in providing advice to clients on book-keeping and accounting software issues. Jenny’s fields of expertise are, as a client
once put it Frocks & Rocks! being Retailers & Building/Construction clients. Jenny believes the foundation of any business is a strong accounting system. With this in place you have the facility for future planning which aids growth of the business. Without it the business is at a severe disadvantage and has to base any plans on historic data which often is out of date!
Jenny’s outside interests have become limited of late due to the arrival of her twin girls. She is now surrounded in nappies, bottles and most importantly lots of love!
